Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan

Freer wrote and provides ongoing support for the client's SPCC Plan, which is required by federal law because the client stores more than 1,320 gallons of oil and oil-based products in above ground storage containers. The SPCC Plan includes identifying the client's oil storage containers and their volumes, describing possible spill or release events, e.g., leaks, overfills, etc., identifying possible paths that spills could take to reach navigable waters, describing the client's spill response procedures, and a site map indicating oil storage areas and major structures on the site. Freer obtained a professional engineer's certification that the plan meets federal requirements and continues to support the client's plan with regular reviews and updates as they are needed.
